A 10-minute daily learning routine that children stick to
A short routine every day builds a learning habit without long battles. Ten minutes is enough to revise one idea, learn a little and practise.
Pick the same time every day
Link it to something that already happens: after the evening snack, before playtime or after bath. Children settle faster when they know what comes next.
The 2-5-3 plan
- 2 minutes: remember yesterday ("What did you learn about fractions?").
- 5 minutes: one new idea, one short lesson or one page of practice.
- 3 minutes: a few questions, then your child tells you one thing they learnt.
A week that stays fresh
- Monday to Friday: one subject a day, new topic or practice.
- Saturday: a fun challenge, such as a quiz or a game with tables.
- Sunday: a short recap of the week, or a day off.
Keep it calm
- Stop on a good note, even if the plan is not finished.
- Put phones and the TV away for those ten minutes, including yours.
- Praise showing up every day; the habit matters more than any single day.
How MangoMindz helps
In the parent dashboard you can choose 10, 15 or 20 minutes a day. MangoMindz then suggests a plan for the next 7 days from your child's own progress, with revision first.

Frequently asked questions
Is 10 minutes a day really enough?
For Classes 1–5, short daily practice keeps ideas fresh and builds the habit. Some days your child will want to do more, which is fine.
What if my child refuses?
Keep the time short and the start easy, such as a game or a picture lesson. Offer a choice of subject so your child feels in charge.
Should the routine include homework?
Homework comes first on days it is set. The 10-minute routine is extra practice for the other days or after homework.
